Reproducing stone and wood in Viewcol has also technical advantages. First lamination in glass of stone and wood maintains much easier. Stone stains when for example red wine is spilled. It also absorbs grease (in the kitchen). When laminated in glass, cleaning is simple and fast. Wood absorbs humidity. Even if the water contents of the wood was close to 0% when laminating, with open edges and in humid conditions the wood will absorb humidity and may cause delamination. With a high quality reproduction in Viewcol you cannot see the difference and all possible disadvantages of the real product disappear.
